Dr. Michael Geary has served as the CEO of SEl since its founding in 2005. Originally from Western Pennsylvania (and therefore a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers' fan), he attended Pensacola Christian College in the early 1990s. After graduating with a double major in Management and Computer Science, he earned a Master's of Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of West Florida and a Doctor of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University. He has taught at PCC for over 30 years and now serves as the chair for the Engineering and Computer Science department. He strives to provide an environment in which employees develop skills such as teamwork, the ability to learn on their own, and a professional mindset. His hobbies include gardening, playing board games, and pickleball.

Dr. Jonathan Sparks

Dr. Sparks started programming web pages at his school in 1994 and has been programming ever since. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from PCC, a Master's degree in Computer Science from UWF, and a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Sparks is the Lead Teacher for the Computing Major. When not programming, Dr. Sparks enjoys reading, swimming, and playing board games with his family.
